Our Past

Interior Motives located in Connecticut, has been restoring and repairing classic car and special interest interiors for automotive enthusiasts nationwide. For years we have offered everyone complete or partial custom upholstery services for antique cars, classic cars, street rods and muscle cars. In recent years we have added AM/FM radio conversions to our services. Visit our gallery for just a few examples of our past work.

Our Present

Due to the increased workload from restoration shops in our area, upholstery work is now being done only for these restoration shops or by special appointment. Radio conversions are still done by mail. Turnaround is usually less than 2 weeks. See our radio conversion page for more details. We also offer converted radios for sale when available on our products page.

Our Future

Our experience has shown that a company that grows larger does not always necessarily make a better product, however it can increase the number of products made in a given period. Our goal is to hold on to and make every effort to increase the quality, rather than trade it for volume. That's the up side. The down side is a longer waiting list, but we all are entitled to a choice.
